There are lots and lots of hunters the first week. The 2nd week, the antelope are a bit jumpy!! It has decent public land but the antelope aren't the biggest. If you're going for meat, they are plenty fat most years.

We were across the highway in 26, 27, and 29 last weekend. Lots of public land and lots of antelope. Bet it gets crazy during the season.

I wouldn't get too excited on 26 or 29 for access. Both are slim pickins. 27 has plenty, but that unit takes a few points.

7 has enough to get the job done, but it's still going to require some bouncing around between sections, as with any easier draw unit.

I suppose it's got something to do with perspective. We are from Eastern South Dakota so it seems like a lot of public land to us. We were looking for deer, not antelope, but those goats are distracting.

To those familiar with the area, is being this dry this early normal? There is a little water around, but sure not a lot.

Been really, really dry up there for sometime. If you can find a windmill on public you'll be alright, but most water is on private.

The last 2 years in NE wyoming have been fairly wet. Especially last spring. This year we have got less than a foot of snow. Unless thing change, we will be very dry this year. One of the dryer years I can think of so far.
