Impossible Bull Draw as 1st Choice

Looking to draw a non-resident cow tag in 2016 unit 56 as my 2nd choice, need to save my bull points for 2017-18 draw until I have enough acquired for the hunt unit I am interested in drawing. I have 4 points now and do not want to loose them this year trying to draw a 56-4 license. Unit 7 looks like a hard to draw tag, not sure if tags are allocated in the random draw in unit 7 for people with no points or low preference point total. Any suggestions or information would be appreciated. Thank You

You could possibly draw Unit 7 and there are private land issues there.

Unit 31 is one of the best bull hunts in the state and hasn't had a tag issued in the random draw tag issued since 2013. Even before then draw odds were well below 1% in the random draw. If you drew it by some astronomical odds, you would be in for a huge treat.

If you want a minute chance to draw with an easy bull hunt if you did draw apply for Unit 100. You would have less than a 1% chance to draw and tons of public land to hunt.

Thanks for responding, and I agree will take care of the bio as soon as possible. Have only been a member for a few weeks and did receive my members research annual this week. Up to this date all my trips to Wyoming have been for Antelope on BLM land which were outstanding in some beautiful country. Appreciate the reply.

I have put my app in for a 56-4 tag, they have several different cow tags in this unit all with specific hunt zones and hunting dates in this unit. Will see what happens in the draw. This is also not a reduced price cow/calf tag. Thanks for the suggestions and comments to this post, it helped me out a lot with choosing my 1st choice, along with the members research guide and the Wyoming game and fish web site.
