The walleye was peck. Perch are just as good as walleye IMO. Pete I am still waiting on a call for the bison, not looking to good.
I was literally thinking about JJ the other day and his Bison hunt. Has it not been a bad enough winter to push them out of the park? Has anyone been contacted yet or do you know?JJ, congrats! Fort Peck? These sure don't look like a Bison, I guess you never got the call?
The Gardiner side has had bison by the hundreds coming out of the park, and they still haven't activated the cow hunts on that side yet. Not many have been out of the park on the West Yellowstone side yet, so unless a big migration happens soon I doubt I will get the go ahead.I was literally thinking about JJ the other day and his Bison hunt. I noticed that to. You are right nothing like the ice fishing bee hatch!Matt, I think that's the exact bee pattern on his line! Nothing like a bee going thru the hole in the ICE![]()
It's called creating your own hatch. Expert guide Hank Patterson is a pioneer in this subject.I noticed that to. You are right nothing like the ice fishing bee hatch!
JJ those are some great looking perch!! Perch, Walleye and Crappie are the tops for eating as far as I am concerned!
