This morning was a combination of chest with some interval type stuff. Tomorrow morning will be straight cardio, going on the 4ish mile loop that I typically run.

Having a down week this week.

Life got in the way of things on Monday and didn't get out the door for my run until almost 9:00 pm. I live out in the country so no streetlights and the moon wasn't up by then so ran 7 miles wearing a headlamp. Actually ended up being a pretty neat run though.

My home treadmill broke almost a month ago and finally got the replacement on Tuesday, but by the time I got a friend lined up and got it upstairs at the house and assembled just had time to get in a 1 mile run to test it out. Of course taking the old one out and getting the new one upstairs and assembled probably should count as a strength workout. The new one is listed as weighing 300lbs.

I was tempted to make up the mileage on Wednesday, but since Wednesdays are my rest day and I have a race coming up on Saturday I kept it to just a 30 minute run on the treadmill that night for 3.35 miles.

Hoping to get about 8 miles in on some trails today after work.

Ran a pick axe for 5 1/2 hours to cross an ally that had about 10" of frost to repair a buried service to a house. I'm good for a few days.

Beat the tire with a sledge and dead lifted today. Good workout meaning I will be really sore tomorrow...

2 mile race today. Official time was 13:40.6 for a 6:50 average pace. Broke the course record for the fat boy aka Clydesdale division for that race.

The whole family ran the race and we all got medals. My son had his second best 2 mile time with a 20:20. He's 8.

We dressed up for Valentine's day!

This morning was chest/triceps/abs with some short interval type exercises added in there. Superset everything, starting to see some results and the scale isn't so scary right now....

Haven't posted for a while. On the road so Total body interval today. Pull ups followed by push ups followed by squats. Did sets of 10, with 30 sec of rest after each circuit. Went until I couldn't do anymore than 5 pull ups. Then did elliptical for 30 min. Tried to mimic a crossfit type workout.

12 miles Sunday with 2 big hills, 8 miles Monday, 10 miles yesterday with 6 of those at 7:27 pace. Rest day today so only 4 easy miles after work planned.

Tore my Bicep tendon on Monday! Complete rupture, headed for surgery in the next couple of days! Three surgeries in one year... this is getting depressing. Just when I was getting back in the swing of things... oh well, more cardio for this guy.
