As many of you know, I do a lot of long range archery shooting. Well, I just increased my marin on longest kill shot. The conditions were right. No wind, deer were calm, and I felt "in the zone" or insync with my equipment.
Thus I took a doe at 75 yards. Slightly quartering away; double lung kill - she made in a mere 20 yards and expired.
I don't recommend this type of hunting to the average "slinger", but I do practice almost daily and feel very confident in my abilities. Just thought I'd share.
Only 1 more week left for archery deer in Ohio. Good luck to anyone else hunting.
