So what does everyone use to keep their scopes/rangefinders/spotters from fogging up on a rainy, snowy hunt?

Looking forward to answers to this. I try not to wear my glasses but sometimes I can't wear the contacts and I definitely have had issues with fog as well as with my optics.

I'm interested as well, on my Caribou hunt there was a whole day where my glasses where worthless.

In a pinch, shaving cream works. Rub it on, let it sit a second, then wipe it off. Try it on your bathroom mirror for a test. It works.

Baby shampoo mixed with water - doesn't last forever, but none do, and it's cheap. Carry it in a little $1 bottle or spray bottle from WalMart.

I don't think I would. I know zeiss and Oakley both make anti fog stuff. I'd probably try that before baby shampoo or shaving cream

The best thing to protect against fogging is the lens coating itself which is best on high end optics (Swarovski).
