Went to northern Missouri this weekend for a short trip with some friends and my buddy landed a toad. I didn't have the same luck, but never the less had fun.

Team Kabob - I work with a few guys that hunt up near kirksville. They claim bucks are exhibiting rut behavior, chasing does. Did you guys see any of this?

That is a nice one. It's in my list of goals to stick a P&Y on Missouri public ground. I'd say he'll do the trick.

Buckbull, I've not seen any rutting behavior out of our deer near Chillicothe. We had a few bucks sparring on camera, but most of the bucks are still hanging out together. That's all gonna change in the next 10 days, when the first does start..

I didn't see any bucks running does. The buck my friend shot was alone but did respond to a grunt. They might be just checking them.....

Fink, that's on my list too! I was happy to see my friend get one and bring on the rut.

I know right. But, he's done until rifle season now and is going to be hard to get him to go.
