my buddy arrowed himself a dandy hybrid, I have pic on phone but don't have a way of sending it onto here, im cheap and phone don't have the capability. how would the scoring on these work? massive tines on a total whitetail head gear frame, but massive mule deer body and head. wish I could post pic on here, ill try and get it figured out.

Wow. Look at those long times. Head definitely looks like a muley, but the antlers look like whitetail beam/tine configuration with muley influences on length and tiny eye guards. Really cool deer.

Muley/Whitey hybrids are fairly rare. That one looks like a straight mule deer to me. I've seen plenty of muleys with that daggered 3 configuration going on. Face and ears look like a mule deer. Nice buck no matter what kind he is.

Here is the pic for Ivory......what a buck. Hybrid or whatever he is. Awesome! /QUOTE]

Looks like a mule deer to me. Check the tail. My experience with mule/whitetail cross have had smaller ears similar to white tail and a tail that looked like something between the two. This guy has full sized Muley ears and a defanant Muley face.

i think you boys may be right, I have never seen a muley with a frame like this before, and came from a spot known for the crosses.

Looks like a straight mule deer to me also, but I'm definitely no expert. Those are some really long tines either way. I'll bet your buddy was stoked!
