Just back from my 2014 antelope hunt.. We hunted near Casper. Antelope numbers have been down in that area for the past couple of years and seemed so again. That being said we all filled our buck tags and I punched a doe tag as well. Waterholes all were full and there was lots of vegetation. In fact in the sand hills grass was waist high. The antelope were quite scattered and mostly in herds leaving lots of areas that held antelope in past years pretty empty. Not sure why. Not many hunters around which was to be expected since the numbers of tags given out is down. This was the best buck I saw. Missed him on the first chance due to what I'm sure was a incorrect range reading. I made sure on my 2nd chance! Haven't scored him yet but I'm thinking 77-78".
