Howdy boys, finally got some down time. 3rd crop is in the barn and 4th is gonna be chopped so life is slowing down for a while!! Spent some time working on the pickup yesterday, put some skins and shocks on it, went with Nitto's Terra Grapplers in 285/70's and some Bilsteins 5100's that are height adjustable that I set to level her out!! It rides so much better over the stock shocks it isn't even funny!!!

Nice truck. It does look better level. Hey #keystone, shouldn't you be putting something in the barn this time of year?

This is cool. Just thought I would share the luck of the draw fore and mine for the year. We drew 1 le elk tag, 2 cow elk, 1 archery deer, 1 doe antelope and lastlast but not least 1 bear tag. Have great year everypne.

MM, finding blemished or used parts is a great idea.

Just out of curiosity, what convinced you to go with the .204? Ballistics or something else?

I want to upgrade from .223 to a 6.5 but ammo scarcity (although it isn't as bad as it was just a couple months ago) and ammo price (as bad or worse than it has ever been) has kept me out of the game.

The 204 has interested me since it came out but really most of it was I wanted a smaller caliber but didnt want a 223 like everyone else has and the 204 is something different. I almost bought a Remington R15 in 204 a couple years ago but it was gone when I went back and I kinda built this gun after it with a few upgrades.

I thought it wasnt cold yesterday morning when I got on my bike, I was WRONG!!:D
We had a severe cold front come in Fri along with 4" of rain through Sun AM...temps have dipped and our highs are currently in the mid80s and lows in the upper 60s. The dry air has also dropped the humidity from 98% down to 94%....'bout time to get the long johns out.

I like your cold fronts better. Last week we had one day with a high of 37 and a couple inches of snow and 20 mph wind ... t-shirt weather here, lol. I thought I saved some tomato plants but they didn't make it. I tried to cover them, but no such luck.
