Be sure to have plenty gas money if you buy it! I have one and its bad.
Drive a 97 F150 lariat that I bought in 02' with 28,000 miles on it. Paid cash, and it's been my only vehicle the whole time with only a few expected repairs. It's never left me stranded. Now it's got 140,000 miles (I only average 9k per year) and the body is starting to rust along the bottom and wheel wells. Looking at getting a 2011 dodge crewcab with the 5.7 hemi and about 100,000 miles on it. Never owned a dodge, and wondered if you guys had any opinions on it. Especially how many miles it will be good for.

I drive a 01 Toyota 4 runner with rock guards, 2 hella lights, upgraded bumper, upgraded skid plate, new suspension for off-road and rock crawling and some Goodyear mud terrains. My dad got it and now I drive it. But once I get paid for helping work on our jeep, I am looking at getting a late 80's or 90's f150, or a dodge ram 1500. Something I can lift and make it my own truck for doing everything.

I finally down sized from a Dodge 4X4 Cummins diesel and went with a 03 Toyota 4runner. Just lifted it 2 inches, added a tranny cooler, and now looking for some taller tires...a work in progress.

If I am solo or just have one other with me I usually take what the family calls the 'Ol Mule. It's a '98 Chevy 3/4 ton standard cab with the 6.5 diesel engine, it doesn't worry about scratches, dents or getting dirty. If I take the family or go on extended trips I take the '01 Ford F350 crew cab with the trusty 7.3, I have to be more careful when I take the family truck. By the way, they are both white for a reason.

I drive a 06 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab. 200k on a gas job with no problems other then an exhaust leak is pretty good. I heard Toyota might be offering there Tundra with a Cummings diesel in 2017 so that might be my replacement.

Not that I have any special allegiance, but I sure do like my '95 Jeep Cherokee. Convenient that my daily driver, my bad weather driver, and my hunting rig are all the same vehicle. And I can stretch right out and sleep in the back if I'm waiting in line for a morning duck hunt at Sauvie Island.

My daily driver/hunting car is a dodge caliber. It's been places you never imagined a car could go. Occasionally, I'll take my wife's Pontiac Torrent when I think I'll want cruise control and power Windows and locks. ;)

I drive an 08 chevy cobalt for turkey hunting trips! I call it the mossy oak mudslinger! I also have a 2012 dodge ram quad 1500 4x4 and an 08 ford f250 4x4, The cobalt gets 34mpg compared to 11mpg with the trucks so it gets driven most of the time. Only a real man can tie an elk to the top of a cobalt!

Mostly my 2000 Nissan Frontier PU 306,000 miles and going strong. I love that little truck, it's been in every western state hunting with me. I just picked up an 89 Chevy 3/4 a little over a year ago. Mostly for wood hauling, but it's been to MT, UT and WY already. No real problems with it so far, but it only has 115,000.( It sat in a barn for quite a few years). I'd definitely opt for my Nissan if I'm going solo(not too good if you need a quad or horses though:)) I only pull a little utility trailer with it if necessary.

My 99 Gmc with a 4" lift gets me everywhere I need to go, I have never had problems with it, I mainly use it for going fishing and hunting that's about all it gets used for.

2007 F-150, but after my 2000 Explorer kicks the can I am seriously thinking about a Subaru Outback, aka Lezbaru!

Mine is a 07 Tundra, stock and will most likely stay like that since I have almost 113K on the clock. No problems at all and gets me where I want to go hu. If we get in some rough country, then we break out my dad's 72 Ford F250. That thing's a billy goat as it has almost 400K on the clock, 2nd motor, original trans, diffs but the transfer case has been gone through a few times. It has even been flipped on its side on an out of state hunt and when the tow truck got it back on it's wheels, dad got in and drove off.
