My wife drew a tag for the Pole Creek Muzzleloader elk hunt in the random draw (about 5% odds). She is my tag drawing machine. We are hoping she will get her first bull. 
This will be a low pressure elk hunt with only a handful of tags. It is valid for all public land in the Heppner unit (Oregon). I've never set foot on this unit and like a lot of low odd tags that come unexpectedly, I am just starting my homework.
