New to elk hunting headed to unit 18 for first rifle season was wondering if anybody could let me what to expect or what elevation I should look for elk we're going to be east of monarch Lake any information would be greatly appreciated thanks

Same here guy. Hopefully the hybrid draw is good to me. I have a buddy with 17 points and he's holding out for CS too. Maybe in a couple of years that might become a reality.

I was gonna see if I could get some help from this forum, me and 3 friends are planning a elk hunt in colorado for the second rifle season i think Oct 17th to the 25th We're just buying otc tags and was hoping someone could tell us a good place to go like what forest or gmu where we can park how far should we hike in to get away from the crowd we planned on walking in and setting up camp were trying to avoid a place where u can take atvs also any help is appreciated

When looking for a communal door the priorities are appearance, durability and most importantly security to protect those inside. Steel doors are the most suitable material for these as they provide all of these desired benefits.

Did you make it out this past yr? This yr I'm hoping to get my dad into bowhunting and head to ID. This yr isn't going to work with our "muzzie group". One of the guys is getting married and going on a honeymoon AND just started a new job so short on vaca time.
