I have a Cabelas instinct coat that I love and its only a couple years old, the zipper stopped working! is there an easy fix for this? I've heard people say to rub pencil lead on the teeth?? the teeth just are'nt staying together

I had a different Cabela's jacket the zipper broke after a few years. Headed down to the store in junction with no receipt.
They gave me credit at the lowest price in the last 30 days since they didn't have any in stock for replacement.
Ordered a new one online

I've had a couple zippers replaced on coats over the years at our local dry cleaners.been awhile but last time I believe it was about $15 and whatever the cleaning cost

I don't know, however, I have had issues with several zippers from Cabelas.
it seems more an more the zippers on coats are getting cheap. I won't buy a coat the has the plastic looking zippers that so many now seem to have

I would take it back to Cabelas. They used to replace clothing with no questions asked but that was before Bass Pro bought them.

I have fixed several of my zippers, take a small pair of channel locks or pliers , gently press the [ base ] of the zipper head on the inside and outside of the zipper. it closes the head just enough so the teeth will once again fully interlock. Works most of the time ,Good Luck
