Zeiss, Bushnell, nikon, or ???????

So I just picked up a savage 116 weather warrior in 7mag. Now it's time for glass. Looking to keep shots less than 500, never will shoot father except for fun.

I have it kinda narrowed to 3 scopes.

First is a Zeiss Conquest HD5 in 3-15x42 with the z600 reticle.

Second is a Bushnell elite long range hunter 3-12x42 with the GH2 reticle.

Last is a Nikon monarch 3-15x50 with Niko Plex reticle and xr turrets.

Right now I am leaning towards the Zeiss. So school me. What am I missing that makes one of these better than another or is there another one I should look at.

UPDATE: ok. So the Nikon is out. Bushnell is close to out.
I like the VX3i but maybe for another rifle. Does the CDS version have a zero stop? The power range doesn't meet what I want.

Any other good options? I really like the lower end to be 3 power, upper end at least 15 but doesn't need to be a lot more.

I appreciate everyone's comments so far.

I have the exact same gun, and have had it for dang near a decade now. I have a Leupold Vx3 CDS 4-14x40....Its awesome in my opinion for what i need. I shoot factory loads, and the Nosler partition in 160gr is what I use. The CDS of the leupold is awesome and slick to use. I know my gun is dialed in up to 700 with the turret system...I have no desire to shoot at animals at Long range like that unless it is already hit, in which case I like having that ability and knowing all i have to do is turn my dial to 7 and the gun is on target. Its just a simple scope to use, and being able to just turn the dial in 2 seconds to the yardage you need and know it is dialed in, is a great feature in a hunting rifle. I havent used any of the scopes above, so i cant comment precisely. I know plenty of clients who had Zeiss scopes and they always loved them as well.

+1 on the Leupold VX 3 with the CDS. Mine is two years old and not the new VX 3i. It is also 4.5 x 14 x 40. Great scope for the money. I do have 2 Nikon and two Bushnell scopes, not the models you mention, and have nothing bad to say about them except they are not as good as the Leupold.

With the ones you list.....nothing IMO will beat clarity on the edges and light transmission of the European glass ( any brand) That being said Leupold continues to close the gap.

For what you have listed I would go with the Zeiss, but for what you don't have listed I would look strongly at the Leupold VX3i.

Out of the three that you listed, I think that the Zeiss is the best by far. My personal favorite at the moment is the Vortex Razor HD LH 3-15x42. Very clear glass, easy to use reticles, capped turrets with MOA adjustments. Best bang for the buck in my opinion. Good luck
