Youth muzzle loader

I am looking for a muzzle loader for my 10 year old. Do any of you know of a youth muzzle loader or any muzzle loader for that matter that tends to be smaller than normal?

There is youth rifles, youth bows, just about youth everything. Except muzzleloaders. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you want to hunt with it?

Only problem with most of the muzzleloaders is that they have to be .50 cal for elk/deer and they kick pretty good.

I use an old Knight 45 cal with a low dose of powder. It is very lethal on whitetail deer. If it was legal for elk it could do the job. I have a z5 scope on it. For Colorado I use a 50 cal that has no advantage for a child. If its legal use the 45

He will only be hunting deer with it. Specifically whitetail deer. I would like to find a .45 cal but I am having trouble even with that.

I bought my wife the Thompson Center Impact and like it. It is simple and the hammer and trigger are easy for her to use. Not very expensive either.

I would go with a traditions buckstalker in .50 caliber. I would start with a load around 75 grains for him to get used to it. Then use 100 grains with a 250 sabot when he is ready. I would then sight in the rifle at 100 yards and keep the shot below that. Below is an article I found on this to help.
