Not well at all Sawmpokie, see my post, (unit 16c youth hunt report). Badly broken ankle, not many elk, losts of wolves, big snow storm. On the good side, my grandson applied himself. We knew we were in trouble before I broke my ankle and he just hunted that much harder. Very proud of him. We had fun, we scouted and we explored. Weather never stopped us. All the hunters we met we liked, that's a biggie. One guy showed me how to set up a truck for four wheeling but when he found out Montana and I took the f150 through Spring Creek Canyon, he called us crazy. He knew we went through there but he thought it was on the ATV. If you want to draw out there, a guide from Westin can most definitely do it. The most impressive guide I have met. He owns the store at Westin. If you go it DIY I can help you PM. Bottom line I didn't like the place. The four wheeler guy saw three bulls that he said were good, he knowns. He told me where and I just missed seeing one of them. I saw a bull too. When its hot and dry its all about water. Having surgery Tuesday, hope I get to walk again.
