Just got my mail and got my Co. Antelope tag. Knew I had been drawn, but still nice to get the tag. After 12 points and 12 years waiting. Unit 003 Buck tag. One of the best areas in the state IMHO.

I appreciate all the posts and will definately get some picts posted. I will be combining the hunt with my Wyoming goat hunt (Yea I know, no tags yet. But have enough pts there to draw, so am being positive about it too), so me and my hunting pard from Cal. will get some great stuff. He will be hunting in Wy, but not in Co., he'll be my spotter!!!

Just finished up a 3 day marathon cowboy shoot (over 100 shooters from as far away as Australia) and leaving on a fishing trip with some friends for 3 days this am. Got to go finish packing the boat & rv,

Sorry I didn't get back to this post. I did post on another thread about my hunt. My Dad had been quite sick and and got worse while we were hunting in Wyoming. We had shot all our antelope there and were getting ready to come back to Colorado to do a little scouting before it opened. I called my sister in California and decided to get home and to Calif ASAP. I stopped in Meeker and surrendered my tag before the season opened and got all my points back.

Got to California the day before my Dad passed...he was 94.
