Thanks to you all and Colorado Cowboy. My surgery was to get me back to where I was before the fall. In three months I can get a new ankle. I plan to do that. Maybe I will be able to walk again. I more or less ruined grandsons hunt but we had a good time anyway and I did find out he will hunt. I probably should have let him shoot an elk but it was a long shot and like he said,"how would we ever get it out". Thanks again forum

If you want to know more about ankle replacement and the PT afterwards, shoot me a PM. The new ankle I got in 2014 is great and going good. Here's hoping all will go well.
