Wyoming Wilderness Outfitter Recommendations

Looking for an outfitter for the western part of WY..Thorofare, Teton wilderness, etc. wanting to take my son on a horseback elk hunt. Anyone have a recommendation for an outfitter?

Trouble is he's probable out hunting!

This is a bad time to try and contact hunting outfitters, but sometimes they may have someone watching for emails or phone calls coming in.

I know a outfitter down in Arizona who is on his phone for a couple hours at night during hunting seasons if he is in a area where he can get reception.

I agree I should’ve been doing this back in the summer and not during hunting season

For the Thorofare, I have heard good things about Yellowstone Outfitters. A friend of mine is going with them in the next year or two. If you are looking closer to Cody, I would suggest Shoshone Lodge Outfitters.

My two sons and I hunted with Trails West Outfitters in Wyoming this year and we all filled with great bulls.
