Wyoming Unit 89

Wanted to reach out to you, just joined this forum, I am from NC and only get to go elk hunting every other year if lucky. That's a deal with the wife. I have been hunting a few times in Colorado but am heading to Wyoming this October.
I have a general tag this year and was thinking unit 89, does anyone have any information they are willing to share. I have a few options based off of my research but was wondering how the elk did over the winter? I heard it was rough out there.
Mostly looking around Grey's river but don't know if I should stay up toward the head of the river or head South toward unit 90. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of hunters, but the farther south in the Greys the better for elk in my experience.

Lots of hunters but lots of elk too. I have family that hunts there every other year and they kill elk every time. Very steep rough country so you need to be in shape. I hunted deer there last year and saw a lot of elk.
