I finally drew this tag after applying for 7 years as a resident. Any advice on this area would be greatly appreciated. Probably the last time I'll draw this area. I just turned 62 and the old knees just aint what they used to be.

If you bow hunt wait till at least mid sept because the Labor Day camping and traffic is heavy, last year the majority of the elk went into the wilderness area after Labor Day. However, Buck Mt is a good place to start if you hunt near the roads.

I drew this tag for the fist time as well. I will be up there in mid to late September and have not specified the dates in October that I plan on hunting. PM me for contact info and if we are up there at the same time, I could help with packing one out for you.
