Wyoming unit 40/41

How are the whitetails on public in these 2 units? We didn’t draw any tags this year so scrambling trying to put something together for my boy it’s was going to be his first hunt out west and out of state. Looking at maybe trying for some leftover doe tags.

Not many on public but you should be able to find a few landowners who will let you shoot some whitetail does.

Very tough to find them on pubic, but like previously stated several landowners will let you you shoot does. There are even some listed on the Wyoming game and fish public access page.

I can't seem to find landowner contact. Do you mean the walk in area's? I have been looking at those. Waiting for July 9TH to see what my plan will be I guess

I was looking at some of those unit lists for various species. The lists have really dwindled from former years. I assume folks have ruined it for others or outfitters have taken over in many areas...
