Looking for anyone with info on Wyoming elk unit 113? My wife drew a cow tag this year. She's never shot an elk so I thought if she could draw a tag it would be a good first elk hunt as last year there was over 70% success. Well, we've hunted three hard days so far we haven't seen a thing. I called the area Big Game Biologist and the Game Warden and they both recommended the Rochelle Hills area. We walked our butts off and haven't even found any real fresh sign. We weren't able to hunt opening weekend - do they all move to private ground after they hear the first shots? Any help would be really appreciated.
