Any recommendations on an eastern Wyoming taxidermist. Two of us will be hunting south of Tensleep for antelope, and we are not allowed to being intact skulls back to MN. I have a good antelope mount already, and don't plan on another one, but my partner would like to get a shoulder mount done.
I have caped numerous critters, but would hate to screw up my buddies pronghorn, and would prefer to have the taxi do the skull portion.
Buffalo or Gillette on our return route. Thanks for any input.

Not sure pronghorn are on the list of prohibited animals, they are not cervids but I do think getting your mount done out here where they lots of them is a good idea.
Stoll in Wheatland does pronghorn and Monteith in Laramie too, both out of your way though.

I brought two antelope heads back to Michigan a few years ago. They are not on the list of banned animals or at least they weren't then. From what I have heard they are not capable of getting or spreading CWD.

You guys got it right...since antelope aren't cervids, CWD is not a concern and their import is not banned in MN. Also, I got the updated rules from the MN DNR and the taxidermist that cervid intact skulls may be brought into the state as long as they are brought to a taxidermist within 48 hours. We will probably go with the local guy as he has done an excellent job for me on elk, deer, and lion. Thanks for all the input.
