Looking for a little guidance/help in Unit 45, not somebody's honey hole. There are 2 of us heading west from Iowa to chase pronghorn, but being 8 hours away scouting is virtually not possible. We are willing to pay a trespass fee to access private land. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

45 has very little public land other than the National Forest over on the west side that is not known as antelope country. I would strongly suggest that you immediately contact the G&F Office in Cheyenne and get a list of ranchers that allow hunting with a trespass fee and start making calls. You may not find anyone that can let you on the first week, as you really should have paid attention to the G&F website disclosure and gotten access locked up before you applied for a license in a limited access unit like that. If you don't do as suggested, you are setting yourself up for a big disappointment when you can't find a place to hunt. That happened to me on my first trip out to Wyoming in 92. I've been going out most years since then after learning to be prepared and know exactly where you're going before you head out. Good luck!
