Well I officially got my bull scored this week for P&Y. He grosses 364 even, and 348 7/8 net. My biggest bull to date. Hopefully I can top him some day!

I'm new to this site and simply amazed at your accomplishment here.

Help me understand packing out an Elk like this, as I'm only familiar with field dressing and dragging away Midwest Whitetails. How much of the animal can you physically harvest, packing the meat out by yourself?

I'll try to help Scott and the guys with this one, lol. I have watched these good videos ones a few times for just in case. But yeah, all of it. My puppies like the skinned lower legs, so those would come out too for me.

I agree there are some very skilled and accomplished hunters on here. Its fun to read the success and see pics.

I was hunting solo and it took me five trips and I took everything possible. All I can say is get in good shape and have a good pack frame. I've done it many times solo and I'm just 54yrs young, 5'8" and 150lbs dripping wet.

Maxhunter, that's a terrific bull! To be successful on a solo, public land, general unit, archery elk hunt is impressive beyond words. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
