My dad drew 113! Had max points as a non resident. We spoke with the biologist and warden before applying and looked at Google earth. Now it's time to start getting specific. Planning a summer 4 day scouting trip and also to show up 4-5 days before the opener. Any and all pointers, suggestions, and help will be greatly appreciated!

Be sure to get a landowner map for your gps or be good at reading a landowner map. The trophy quality has dropped since they have went from every 3rd year to every other year hunting bulls. If your not on private land, be ready to run into lots of hunters. Not a lot of tags available, but not a lot of public land either. The bulls will also run onto the private land after they have been shot at also. Going a few days before the season opens is a great idea.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll get up there sooner rather than later and start knocking on doors. I do have the hunting gps maps for my Garmin as well.

I antelope hunt this area and i can tell you ive seen some nice bulls. Public land can be an issue and also mine areas can be a problem, but this area has potential for some booners if your patient.
