Congrats, sounds like a great trip. I'm looking for my first western hunt next year, my only concern is my hunting buddy being like yours.
I took him on an antelope 2 years ago. We slept in tents while it was 13 degrees at night and 30 degrees during the day. He fared well then. However, the terrain was much easier and at a lower elevation. It's not like he did not know what he was getting into. I suspected this might happen based on his lack of cardio and time spent at the range.
Good luck to you S.Engineer!

'BC,

You're welcome in my camp anytime, amigo. [emoji106]

I just need some of my family drama to settle down just a little bit so I can get out for more than a few days. Time and patience.

Appreciate all your insights and advice as well; as I was getting things dialed in the weeks prior to my trip.

I'm still up for that mid -life crisis idea I floated past of packing it all up and opening that custom rifle shop off I-90, somewhere between Moorcroft and Sheridan...lol [emoji23]

Looking through my 2018 hunt photos and thought I'd upload a few to carry some of us over to this fall. Pictures never provide the justice or truly depict how steep the 'hills' truly are.
