I’m not sure how many of you hunted Wyoming antelope this year but from what I saw there is a lot to look forward to in the coming years. With excellent spring moisture and fawn crops the past 2 years things are definitely looking up. On average, I have noticed a lot better mass, length, age, and prongs this year compared to 2014. Also, judging from live and harvest buck photos shared on this and other hunting websites there have been a lot more B&C bucks running around Wyoming compared to 2014. If there is a relatively mild winter with decent winter/spring moisture hopefully the trend continues in 2016. If the increase in fawn crop continues this means more tags issued and less years waiting for tags for everyone!

The 2015 season is just coming to a close and I’m already trying to figure out a strategy for 2016. I thought I might offer an invitation to anyone that is interested in sharing a hunt with me next year. If you are unsure where to apply and have been frustrated waiting to draw a quality unit with quality pronghorn bucks keep me in mind. I’m trying to find 1 or more guys willing to apply that have 6+ Wyo antelope pref pts. This would be an incredible experience for anyone just starting out antelope hunting that needs help figuring out how to judge, stalk, and hunt pronghorns….or pronghorn fanatics interested in a great location with a history for producing B&C bucks. I can’t guarantee a B&C buck but there are 80+” bucks available and harvested just about every year!

If anyone is seriously interested please send me a PM. I can send more details and answer any questions. I can also send photos of numerous bucks harvested from this and other Wyo units over the past few years….I know you’ll be impressed!

Interesting post, I too just got back from Wyoming. I hadn't hunted antelope there since 2010. I was in a good unit. I thought quality was lower than I expected. I couldn't turn up a high 70 buck. Going in I had high expectations for above average horn growth and numbers. I didn't see it though. Still had a great hunt with my two seven year old boys, antelope hunting is one of my favorite hunts and I can't wait to go back.

Daughter and I got back a few days ago. Best unit I've hunted in the last 6 years. First time I've had Bucks walk up to my truck like I was feeding them an apple. We have max points and may burn them in 2016 in the same unit. The does were small though. I'm used to hunting up north by Powell and we were south this year. I assume they were just younger because of the die off the last cpl years vs up north. I'm hoping for a bump in tag numbers for 2016.
