Wyoming 92 Whitetails

So I drew Wyoming unit 92 for whitetails. What can I expect in terms of numbers and size of bucks? When is the best time to hunt them? Any areas to concentrate on? Thanks.

Hey Brother, when hunting Western whitetails I start at the river and work from there. If there is river bottom there will be deer, if there is alfalfa close by...even better. I am assuming you have a November season, I haven't looked at the dates, but honestly it is the rut and they can literally be running all day long. I will get a couple of friends who know better to comment or send you a message.

Scott is right. Whitetails in that part of the country will be near a creek (crick) and if there is alfalfa close, it’s money!
