Well folks, thank you. With the help and knowledge from this forum we were able to tag out on elk. Between the rain, slick roads and fog its hard to believe that we were setup and tagged out in less than 30 hours. We didn't scout for a future bull hunt as much as we had hoped but we had left over antelope tags burning holes in our pockets. Unfortunately unit 22 (crazy woman) was one tough DIY unit and we were only able to go 1 for 3.

Yeah yeah pics or it didnt happen, LOL.

Every morning we were in the unit it looked like this, with a heavy dew...

That little brown speck grew and grew...because we were sneaking closer and closer. Lucky for him we were there for the ladies he got a get out of jail free card.

If you ever head back to 22 for goats, let me know. I know of a few public land spots that seem to always hold a few goats
