From what I've researched, these school lands appear to be open to hunting if they can be legally accessed-does that jive with everyone else?
However, I did find this page on a WY land use website which indicates to me that an outfitter can lease and have eclusive access to one or more blocks of this school land:
http://lands.wyo.gov/resources/recreation
Not only that, it said this,:
"The Board of Land Commissioners extends to the public the privilege of hunting and fishing on legally accessible state lands, unless otherwise closed by direction of the Board, on its own motion or upon request of the surface lessee"
How would Joe Cool like me find out if a piece or block of this school land was leased by someone? Once you find out, do you just call the lessee and ask if they allow hunting?
