WY ELK Units after 2017 winter

I'm a seasoned non-res WY hunter. I've been DIY backpack hunting the high country of elk units 85, 84, & 92 successfully since 2008. I have another Gen. tag for this year and an opportunity to hunt 56 &/or 59 outside of Cody this year.
My question is this: Even though those are better units than the ones listed above, this record winter has me concerned.
The SNOTEL data has more snowpack down in my old stomping grounds, but they also have several elk feedgrounds down there. So, what's the thought? Will the winter kill be worse in the Bridger-Teton & lower Gros Ventre area or in the Shoshone?

For 56 or 59 does your opportunity involve a resident guide for the wilderness and horses? Cause I probably wouldn't plan on hunting it without those options. The units you have hunted previously don't contain nearly the grizzly issues that 56 and 59 contain. They are plentiful and not a good place for backpack hunts along with the excessive wilderness in both areas....In terms of winter kill..I don't think the elk will be nearly as affected in either area than the deer and antelope
