Does such a thing exist? My dad and I have hunted elk in WY before and enjoyed success with our bows. He's getting older and with the points required to draw hunts I don't know how many opportunities he's going to get. We like to DIY and I am looking for any information some you may have on hunting private land or accessing public land through private for a trespass fee. We aren't looking for a guided hunt and frankly couldn't afford one anyway, but we are willing to pay to access some relatively undisturbed area. The elk on public land are bugle broke before the season even starts anymore with every joker in the woods "scouting" from their four wheelers/side by sides and pickup trucks driving around bugling into drainages in August.

He can get around pretty dang good for 71 years old and we definitely aren't afraid to work hard for opportunities. I would just like to see him kill a nice bull with a bow while he still can. Due to health reasons (CPAP machine) we can't pack in cause the batteries would be too heavy! Just need a place to park the camper, no hookups required.

We'll have 2 points for the draw next year and are looking for places that could be hunted on the general tag

Would like to spend 2 weeks

Looking for opportunities at a mature bull, score is not that important cause a symmetrical 280" 6x6 or heavy horned 5x5 looks damn good on the wall in my opinion. More opportunities are better, you know how it goes with a bow, you can be 40yds from a screaming bull with 5 cows and never see a hair

Thanks in advance!
