My shots would be aimed and I would take every shot thought I could hit 1 of them. It doesnt sound like he wanted to kill them. My instinct would be to kill every one of them if I could.

as far as I know, there have only been 2 documented modern times case of wolves killing a human.
I know the 2 deaths you're referring to but I would guess there are several more undocumented deaths that are just written off as missing persons just as I suspect there are a lot of shark attack deaths that the victims are assumed to have drowned and lost at sea. I have a Canadian friend who had to climb a tree to escape wolves while he was working alone in the bush. He told me that this is a relatively common story and knows several people with similar stories.

I hear you wyme, there is an area close to the house i like to roam in. i have never packed in there, but that is where i bumped into the wolf pack. I have a hard time thinking i have to pack 5 miles from the house.

Intresting story and comments. You come upon a wolf, pull your side arm and 2-3 seconds later you have 3 wolves attacking. I don't recall the distance but in 3 seconds a wolf came travel a great distance. But 3 wolves attacking. He's lucky to get a shot off and be alive.
