I hear ya, we saw a life flight helicopter pick up the other day from the other side of the ridge. I guess a teenager got caught in a slide and broke his hip. To us the wind loading was obvious, but not every one pays attention. WE have been lucky on snowpack up here in north Idaho. Normal to just above normal snowpack in the mountains. Winter storm is hitting as I type this.

I'm a part time picture guy and the winter (after hunting season of course) is a good time to up date my web site and start contacting potential clients for senior and family pictures.

Here is the site, just updated last week.

Working on some new concepts -- team and individual photos for little ones. Did wrestling club in November, and it went well. Will branch out to baseball / softball, basketball and soccer. Might help fill the gap before senior picture season in July through October. Am shooting a wedding end of March.

Of course I'm already gearing up for spring turkey, and the wife and I are pulling the ATV's to Moab end of April.

Very nice photography! Far better than mine. Nice job. What equipment do you use generally?

I like them smoked, lots of people steak them up and cook them on the grill. My fish was what they classify as a F-4 which means a female that would have spawned this spring, it had roughly 20 lbs of eggs in it. I gave them to a friend, he gave them to his mom, who then gave them to another lady who turned them into caviar. Had some last night at a wild dinner, they were quite good.

Yes, we spear them through the ice in darkened ice shanties, very controlled numbers allowed for harvest. You want to talk boredom and patience, some guys go decades without spearing one. Good fun though in February. Spearing ends at 1:00 each day , so lots of time in the afternoon for socializing.
