Winter in Wyoming?

After a one year hiatus I have once again applied for a Wyoming mule deer tag. I will be hunting the northern sections of the Bighorn Mtns., Region Y. Just wondering how last winter was on the herd and how this winter has been so far. Hunted there two years ago and numbers were down so we decided to give the area a rest, not that two hunters will make a big difference. Have deer numbers recovered any?

So far so good this year. It's been a fairly mild winter so far.

It hasn't been to bad here in Wisconsin this year either after a brutal winter last year. Looks like Boston is getting our winter from a year ago, I don't envy those people. Thanks for the info guys.
