I'm just putting out feelers for a friend of mine. He won a NIB Winchester Super Grade (Limited 1 in 500) that were made for fundraising events. He is going along with me next year for his first guided elk hunt, and he was thinking that he has more adequate rifles than the .280 for elk. I told him that the .280 is a necked down 30-06 (284 cal.), and that the 06 and .270 have killed tens of thousands of elk. I have a Super Grade in .338, and it is almost too gorgeous to use, but it sure puts the hammer on the elk that I have shot. He is thinking of selling it since he is funding both his own and his son's hunt. This is just a feeler at this point to see if there is any interest out there. If so, I can have him contact any interested parties.
