The reason that you all haven't heard much about it, is that most of the hogs are on private land. As well, when they do move, it is in brush so thick that even Mtn. Lions avoid it. Knowing how to pull them out of the jungle is 99% of the battle. Aside from having concessions with some of the farmers/ranchers/landowners, we know how to get them out. I and a buddy began guiding hog hunts in this area some 20+ yrs. ago, and know the area well. We ceased operations for almost 10 yrs. and just started up again with the hogs having spread out over hundreds of sq. miles. In another 5-10 yrs., due to their exponential growth ability, So. Az. will be well known for the hog population and the hunting opportunity for those who learn how to navigate the area of operation.
