The 7-08 is a little rifle but a giant killer EH. I love that round. Congrats on the moose ! Packing a moose is no small job & is always nice to be able to pull up to one and load it in whatever means of transportation you have.

It was 3 loads. I'm real picky about weight & balance. Lots of flying to get camp/moose and 3 other hunters in and out of the field!

You guys did great. Tell your wife she did fantastic! That little 7mm-08 is a great round for sure. Hard to be the Accubond also. If you have it post a picture of the bullet up for us to see!!

This was the first game we've taken with an Accubond. Pretty satisfied with it. A lot to ask of a 140grain bullet at 275 yards!
I used a 250gr Swift A-frame in my .375h&h on my Blacktail. Seems a little backwards for caliber choice but the .375 works well also...as long as you hit the deer in the right spot! I didn't recover that bullet!
