Wife's moose

We had to go to plan "C" but it worked out well. My wife got this bull this morning! Freezer is full. 275 yards with a 7mm-08. 140 Nosler Accubond, double lunged. It hit the shoulder blade and stopped on the far side rib. Went 10 yards.

Great bull AK! It just goes to show a little bullet in the boiler room will put even a big bull moose down. It looks like she's ready for Grizz with that handgun, I can't blame her after the hike the other day.

About 1/2 mile from the airplane and 25 yards from the lake. We were able to taxi right up to it. I like it that way, I'm getting too old to pack them very far!!

Sometimes it's good to be lucky! A 25 yard packout is awesome.
