Whitetail Deer in Unit 66

Has anyone hunted Whitetail Deer in Unit 66 before? I was curious about the numbers of deer on public land and the realistic possibility of killing a buck (not necessarily a big one). I?ll be hunting antelope near Casper in October and was looking for a deer tag option as well. I can?t get the Region D tag because I?m saving my points for a good limited entry Mule Deer unit and D can?t be drawn as a second choice. Thanks so much for your help.

Most all of the whitetails in 66 are on private land.
