Where to apply with 9 points in CO?

I have 9 points and want to burn them, I will need to apply for 4 season because I have a Wy elk tag for 10/15 -10/4. Units that are mostly public are what I am looking for.

I would look at 44 or 53 you are a resident correct?

Yes I am a resident. 44 takes 14 points for fourth season, I do like the looks of 53 with all the public. I was really leaning towards 35 as it it less than a 3 hour drive and my buddy saw some bruisers there last year on the late cow hunt. Anyone familiar with 35?

I killed a nice buck in 35 during 4th season last year. I had 9 points and drew but I had two buddies that didn't draw.

According to the Game and Fish data and a draw odds website you should draw 35 4th rifle buck with 9 points for sure. Last year it took 8 points for a 100% draw and 7 points gave you a 50% chance.
