When does Idaho release controlled elk hunt results?

I drew a unit 52 either sex December elk tag. This will be my first out of state hunt for elk ever. And i'll be holding out for a good bull. If anyone has any advice I can use the help.

I drew nothing. as usual most of my friends did, so I will be the pack mule again.

congrats Shooter that is an awesome hunt. my niece drew it as well.

my advice hunt smart, hunt hard ,hunt often. lots of private ground so ,if possible try for permission to hunt it.

Do you have to get on private to kill a good bull or is it possible on public? I really would prefer to hunt public land.

there are some good public spots. and it is very possible to get a big bull on the public, cows also. in fact that late in the year most of em will have moved off the mountain to where much of the public is.
but much of area is private and always good to keep as many options open as possible.

Grandson drew early unit 48 bull only 10 available tags,and extra cow. I dew 48 cow,and extra cow. Going to be a fun season!!
