What's everyone shooting this fall?

Not looking for this is better than that, just interested in seeing what people are using and for what species

My 2017 set up:

Nice setup!

I'm running a carbon knight 29" and 70# with 6mm fmj coming in @ 507gr and 275fps. Using a hogg father double pin

Haven't decided on rage +p, trocar hybrid, or G5 strikers for elk but I'll use nap killzones for deer. Had to try them all when gander was going out...

Still working out the fine kinks in the arrow set up. Either the new Carbon Express Maxima SD's or FMJ's
50gr. brass up from on both.
Black gold sight, the new HHA drop away (absolutely awesome!!!) and G5 Strikers!

Should be plenty to nock down a moose!

What do you think about the Prime Rize? I have shot the Prime Centergy, but not the Rize. I know you can find some Rizes for cheaper than the Centergys right now.

I really enjoy it. It's my second season with it. Bows are such a personal thing. When shopping last year I tried an Elite 35, Defiant 34, Xpedition Perfexion, Prime Rival, and the Prime Rize. The Rize was my favorite, followed by the Xpedition bow.

I'll be taking two rifles this year - one is an old Savage .30/06. I put my own stock on it and glass-bedded and pillar-bedded it. I also have a nearly new Remington .270 that a friend gave me.

Last year I learned a couple things. I had unknowingly turned my windage knob all the way in one direction, not looking at it and thinking I was taking that cap off. So, this year, I'll bring my bore sighter in case something weird happens again. At least I can get back on paper without shooting most of a box of cartridges and then do my adjustments.

That's also why I'm bringing a backup rifle. I had to borrow a rifle the guy shouted to me as I rode my horse up the mountain, "shoots too high." It cost me a magnificent buck because rather than fling lead at almost 400 yards to see how high it shot, I decided to try there the next morning but closer. But, the guy I was hunting with spooked him and the buck left the area. Yeah, I should have gone back down to adjust the scope, but I was riding with a group of guys who had been waiting on me. Next time., I'll have my own backup.
