Got a question Scott. Just got a pair of Timberlines. Also have a pair of 90%. Which do you prefer for opening week of archery in CO? I also need a good packable rain jacket and just found out the Sitka is on backorder. Need a plan B. Any ideas?
Honestly, I don't have experience with the 90% stuff. Dan does and really liked them for colder winter style hunts.

Yea I wore mine fishing yesterday down here in the 93 degree heat. The fleece lining is a little warm. I could make it work but am probably just going to run the Timberlines. Like the knee pads and the fact the seat and knees are waterproof.

coldfront pants are for way late in the season. Get the mountain or ascent pants and layer with waterproof pant if it rains.

I would get the mountain pants thats what i run and they come with knee pads which are removable can be nice for antelope hunting. They are light stretch well and are tough. Ive worn them in light rains and been fine but if it really starts to downpour i pull out my rain pants and put them over the top.

I have owned the mountain pants in the past and made the switch to the timberlines and I love the timberlines! I also have a pair of 90% pants but they are mainly my late season pants. A good pair of base layers with the timberline pants will get you into those colder weather hunts and will keep you plenty warm. The timberlines aren't super water resistant but I wore them in the rain on a recent scouting trip and they help up just fine I didn't get wet at all but I would bring along some rain pants just in case.
