I really like the Swaro Z5 3.5-18x on my primary lightweight western gun. I like that power range. A couple rifles I use for coyotes and deer around home have 3-18x VX-6 Leupolds so I'm used to that magnification range. I like to have MOA wind holds in the reticle and a turret for elevation. Keeping everything similar helps my practice and predator hunting carry over to big game.
Mainly Bushnell Elites and Vortex all variable and mostly tacticals.
4.5x30x50 tactical for elk rifles 300 wm and 7mm rem mag
2.5x16x50 tactical or just variable for various including 270s, 7mm rem mags, and 25-06
5x15x42 tactical for 243
4x16x50 on another 270
4x12x50 for 17 hmr
3x9x40 for 22 LR

I've been a fixed power scope guy my whole life and have never felt short changed. I did purchase my very first variable two years ago when I had a custom rifle built though. I like the new variable but I still love the fixed power scopes.
4x Leupold on a Ruger 1B 30-06
6x36mm Leupold on a Remington MTN rifle - 25-06
6x42mm Leupold on a Ruger 1B in 6mm Remington
4.5-14x40mm Leupold on a Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter chambered in 280 Ackley Improved. Scope has the B&C reticle! Love it.
Most of my hunting rifles have Leupold 3-9x40 scopes on them. Except for my .22-250 which has a Leupold 6.5-20x50 on it. Also my .25-06 carries a Leupold 4.5-14x40.
I usually just set them and forget them on one power depending on where I am sitting. Bit open country and they will get cranked up to the max. Walking through dense forest or brush I'll crank them down to the low setting. About the only time that my .22-250 has ever been shot with the scope set on less than 20x was when I was sighting it in. Something about being able to actually see the bullet hit the target.
Out west its a Lup 3.5-10 x40 it fits in a scabbard and gives a good range of power on 280 AI and 300 Wtby. A 2.5-8 Lup on my 284
Back east its a 1-4 Lup on the 45-70
My favorite out of my scoped rifles would be my 6x42mm Leupold followed by my 6x36mm Leupold. Always just been a fixed power guy until of course I built that silly 280 Ackley Improved. Looks like I'm the only fixed power voter here.
I have Vortex Optics Strike Eagle 1 6x Scope AR-BDC Reticle (MOA) SE-1624-1 with FREE Vortex Kryptek Highlander Ball Cap.
This is a high end scope and it is very durable with 2 layers of glass on the reticle
