So far I upgraded the rest on my bow from the old 2 prong style to a whisker biscuit and got a new pair of UA boots for my early season archery hunt.

Yup, you have been busy...
Ive been away from the west too long - my rangefinder was 2x the size of what I now have, my eyes were a lot better 25 years ago ...so i needed !!! the swaro, the 41 mag was such a deal ! and the Sparks well that was indulgent !! I have done my part for the economy so I am just being patriotic !

Now I need to connect on a bull and a buck !!

I did get myself a Vortex Razor 20-60x85 spotting scope along with a couple of tripods that I was not intending of picking up until later.

Just this afternoon I spotted a few deer up on the hill south of my home with one nice buck in with them. They were only a couple of miles away.

Couldn’t pass up the 5X points deal going on yesterday from Cabela’s so I cashed in $570 in points, topped off with $228 back in points for the purchase itself and am the proud new owner of a 12x14 Montana Canvas wall tent. It also doubles as my x-mas gift from the wife. Frame to follow once the points rebuild. Can’t wait to try it out in Wyoming next October!!!

Broke down a whole elk and a deer with the same blade. Very impressed.
