Found this deer last year and took pics of him earlier this season and want to know what the score experts think? I think next year will be the year to get him as he put on nearly 30 inches of bone from last year.

lets just say i wouldn't pass that deer if i seen him this year. Great buck, deep forks, kickers, and easily over 24 inches wide!!! You've got some will power, and alot of confidence in your area, for someone else not to harvest him given the chance, unless its private property. Cool pics, thanks for sharing!

He's real nice. I would put him up there in the mid 170's or close to 180. I could be wrong because I'm used to field judging and scoring blacktails which are smaller, but he looks like a fairly high scoring buck. The only thing he is lacking besides width which doesn't mean much is that his main beams may be a little short. If he has in fact put on 30" since the photo was taken, he is certainly over 200" now.

There's no way that he only scores 170 or 180! He scores at least 190+ if not nearing the 200 inch mark! Fantastic buck!

gross 200+, my dad shot a deer very similar to him this year 5x6 30" that scored 189 and this deer has way better g2's and better trash. Nets are for fish, pull the trigger!

Well, I've measured quite a few of them over the years.........if I had to guess based on the photo, I would put him in the mid 180's. His G1's, inside spread, and tine length will not put him in the 200" caliber, IMO.
